Geographic Metadata
The metadata for the Geographic Data documents the sources, attributes,
projection, and other important facts about the data. It also describes
the date of last update and so should be checked periodically to see if new data
has been released.

Note: Land Status data, while still available through CDOT's GIS tools, such as Maps2, is no longer distributed by CDOT. A recommended source for this data is the COMaP (Colorado Ownership Management and Protection) project of the Natural Resource Ecology Lab (NREL) at Colorado State University. http://www.nrel.colostate.edu/projects/comap/index.html
