The Office of Certification is pleased to answer general questions regarding the application, supporting documents, and the application process. However, as the agency responsible for investigating applications for DBE Certification, we are unable to provide more comprehensive assistance in preparing an application or specific documents.

The Certification Road Map:

CDOT, the Center for Equal Opportunity, and the Office of Certification are keenly aware of the great confusion existing over the many types of Certification (DBE,SBE, MWBE, etc.) and which is appropriate when and where. We encourage you to review the Certification Road Map to determine which certifications best suit the particular needs of your firm.
