Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement
The Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement is charged with developing and analyzing the transportation problems, solutions, impacts and mitigations along the I-70 Mountain corridor. The Final PEIS and Record of Decision will document the process and decisions made in the Collaborative Effort. CDOT leads this FHWA sponsored effort.

Collaborative Effort
The Collaborative Effort is an element of the PEIS and was designed to facilitate stakeholder discussions about the transportation alternatives for the I-70 Mountain Corridor. Professional facilitators worked with all stakeholders to design a process for collectively developing a recommended alternative. The Collaborative Effort resulted in the Consensus Recommendation. I-70 Context Sensitive Solutions
This process has coordinated all of the CDOT I-70 Mountain Corridor projects and processes, and has developed the Core Values and CSS Guidance that will be the framework for all current and future projects along the corridor. I-70 Coalition
This coalition was formed to enhance public accessibility and mobility in the I-70 Central Mountain Corridor and adjoining dependent counties and municipalities through the implementation of joint public & private transportation management efforts.
